PBCS Named Finalist for Top Tech Award

We are delighted to announce that PBC Solutions has been recognized as a finalist in BC Tech’s 2025 Technology Impact Awards in the category Company of the Year: Ambition.

This award celebrates a company of any size that epitomizes the ambition of BC’s technology sector. It recognizes companies that have channeled their ambition to tackle major challenges using technology, showcasing unique success stories and demonstrating the drive and vision behind their remarkable achievements.

Ours is a unique BC success story. We were established in 2022 as a wholly owned subsidiary of PBC Health Benefits Society and have already established ourselves as a leader in health benefits services. We provide health benefits management with a focus on large payor systems, including claims adjudication and payment, service transformation, contact centre, analytics, and information security.

We are leveraging the experience and deep relationships our parent company has cultivated in the health care system over the past eight decades—along with significant transformations of their benefits administration, customer service technologies, infrastructure and fraud detection capabilities—to create new and exciting opportunities with large payor organizations in BC and across the country.

As an organization rooted in innovation and transformation, we are deliberately building a culture that fosters creativity and problem solving, cultivating new ideas and approaches to improve user experience and create operational efficiencies on behalf of our clients.

This announcement is the second acknowledgement of PBCS this year. In February, PBC Solutions was named as a Top BC Employer in 2025.
